1/2 cup heavy cream , plus more for whipped cream.
Heat oven to 350. In a small bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon, and allspice. Set aside.
Butter a 2 1/2 quart shallow baking dish, and place wedges inside. Pour cream over wedges, coating each piece. Place butter pieces on wedges and in baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar mixture; place in oven. Bake until golden brown and fork tender, about 1 hour. Remove form oven; set aside for 15 minutes. Serve warm wiht whipped cream
